Welcome Ministry

One of Saint Bernadette’s strengths is that we have a very welcoming parish community. Our Welcome Minister’s role is to spray hand sanitizer and to say “good morning” or “good evening” to all who walk through the doors of our church building before Mass and to engage with those who are interested in joining Saint Bernadette after Mass. 
  
Time:  Volunteers are scheduled on a rotating basis through Ministry Scheduler Pro.  You determine your availability and schedule. Volunteers arrive at least 20 minutes prior to Mass and stay after Mass 10-15 minutes.
 
Gifts and talents:  A welcoming smile, cheerful attitude and a love of getting to know those entering our building are the talents that are necessary for this ministry.  This can be a great ministry for a family to do together.
