Saint Bernadette's Inclement Weather Policy
Weekday Masses/Programs:
- JCCS closed - No weekday Mass or programs for that day
- JCCS on delay - No cancellation or delay in Mass or programs
- JCCS early dismissal – All programs canceled
Weekend Masses/Programs:
- Weekend Masses are not canceled.
- Children’s Liturgy of the Word: Will be held as long as there are adults present & able to lead. However, your safety is important to us! Contact Kathy Hoffman with any changes
- Weekend programs are discerned by the person overseeing the program.
- GIFT: Cancellations will be communicated via REMIND (text/email).

Parking in Fire Lanes
The curb areas of the parking lot and the circle area behind the school are FIRE LANES. They are for drop-off & pick-up ONLY! If you use these areas you MUST remain in your car. Continued misuse of the circle area behind the school will result in the lot being blocked off.
FIRE CODE 189.450 restricts parking in these areas and will result in being given a Fire Lane Violation. The fine is $20 + mandatory court cost of $134.
Cars unattended will be towed at the owner’s expense.
We value the safety of our parishioners and visitors! Recently, Emergency Crews responding to a medical emergency were hindered by a car parked in the fire lane behind the school. Please do not let this happen to your loved ones!
