Valerie Graves

Mrs. Graves is excited to start her fifth year at Saint Mary Academy! She earned a BS in Mathematics at Bellarmine University, where she also competed as a Cross Country and Track & Field athlete. Mrs. Graves earned her MAT from the University of Indianapolis and has spent ten years in education, with roles as a mathematics teacher, coach, and curriculum coordinator. She is currently pursuing her Building Level Administrative license, master's in education, and Rank 1 from Purdue University. 

Mrs. Graves loves staying active and being outdoors. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, camping, and gardening. She enjoys sharing these adventures with her husband and their two-year-old daughter. A fun fact about Mrs. Graves is that she thru-hiked the 2,189-mile Appalachian Trail in 2017; it took her a little over 5 months.
