Trish Feltner

Trish is starting her 18th year of teaching Kindergarten at SMA. She has a business degree from Transylvania University and a Masters Degree from Bellarmine in Education. Initially, she started her career in advertising and worked for Power Creative for 12 years before switching over to teaching. She truly believes that she was called into the teaching profession. She is amazed at her kindergarteners’ love for learning. It is incredible to see the amount of progress students make over the year, especially in reading. 

When Trish is not at work, she loves being with her family which consists of her husband Larry, and her two sons Matthew and Jacob. She also has a red heeler named Bentley and a blue heeler mix named Oreo. For fun, she enjoys reading, going to the movies, late at night, and exercising. Trish is also a big UK fan and has season football tickets.
