Rachel Miles

Rachel has been teaching Kindergarten since 2017, but this is her first year at Saint Mary Academy. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky and her Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership from Midway University. 

Rachel was born in New Hampshire and moved often as a child, going to a new elementary school each year, K-5th grade. This is what called Rachel to teaching - her teachers making her feel at home with every new move and school. Rachel strives to give that same love and community to her students. 

Rachel and her husband have a son named Lincoln. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, snuggled up to a good book, or running.
