Kim Schumann

This is Ms. Schumann’s fourth year at Saint Mary Academy. This will be her eleventh year teaching. She grew up in New Albany, IN but has lived in Louisville for the past 10 years. Ms. Schumann has her undergraduate degree from Ball State University, and she has her teaching degree and Master’s from Indiana University Southeast.

Ms. Schumann enjoys spending time with her family at home, at her parent’s place on Rough River, and taking vacations to new places. She has 3 young children and 1 bearded dragon. Ms. Schumann and her husband are huge UofL fans and love any type of sporting event where they can cheer on their team with friends and family.

Fun Fact: Ms. Schumann was a massage therapist for 8 years before starting her career in teaching.
