Kelley received her M.Ed. from Spalding University, M.S. from University of Arkansas and B.S. from Western Kentucky University
Kelley has taught a total of 24 years, 23 of those years for the Archdiocese of Louisville. Kelley started teaching Outdoor Education in Trinity, TX for Houston Independent School District for one year. She then taught PE/Environmental Science at Mother of Good Counsel, and taught 4th and 5th grades at both MGC and SMA. Kelley switched to Saint Agnes and taught 4th and 5th grade as well as middle school science prior to returning to SMA in 2024.
Kelley enjoys reading, the lake, fishing, going to see plays, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
Angelica Ramirez (Spanish Teacher) Angelica studied at the University in Colombia, where she is originally from. She then studied Early Childhood and Montessori Studies in the USA.
This will be Angelica’s 17th year as an educator of Spanish as a second language, during which time she has dedicated herself to learning new strategies for teaching the language and blending lessons with cultural exploration.
Angelica enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling to learn about different cultures, and singing and dancing to Latin music.
