Katy Goens

Katy received a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Bellarmine University. She was an active member of campus ministry and was a resident assistant (RA) for freshmen girls.  She wants to pursue her teaching degree in order to teach science and more in the future. This is her first year at SMA! 

After working with children at Gasper River Catholic Youth Camp, coaching volleyball and leading several Archdiocesan retreats, Katy realized her passion is in working with the youth. 

Katy enjoys baking and decorating cakes/cupcakes. She also loves science and can even sing all the elements on the periodic table.
