Emilie Barrick

Emilie grew up in Frankfort, Kentucky, and graduated from Franklin County High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky, College of Human Environmental Sciences, specializing in interior design. She spent several years working as a visual designer with Macy’s in Lexington and Louisville.

She left her job at Macy’s just prior to the birth of her first son, Henry, who is a 4th grader at SMA. In 2016, Emilie’s son, William, was born. William is in Kindergarten at SMA. Both boys were baptized at St. Bernadette. Emilie also has 2 dogs at home – Theo and Bernard.

The family moved to California in 2018 and returned to Louisville in the summer of 2021. She has many family members in Louisville and surrounding areas, including her 96 year old grandmother who lives in Georgetown.

Emilie enjoys spending time with her sons and family and her dogs. She also enjoys watching her boys participate in sports, which keeps her very busy.
