Clay attended Trinity High School Class and was a graduate of the class of 2014. He then attended Western Kentucky University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Special and Elementary Education.
Clay worked as an exceptional child service (ECS) aide for an elementary school in Oldham County for four years, as well as worked an after-care part time shift for 3 years.
Clay enjoys playing basketball, video games (Nintendo), bonfires with friends, bike riding, collecting Pokémon cards, and traveling across the country and world. He traveled to England and France for the first time this past summer. One of his favorite places to see during that time was Normandy Beach D-Day.
Clay is a history buff, and especially enjoys American Civil War History. He has been to 13 Civil War battlefields including Gettysburg, Antietam, Chickamauga, Shiloh, and Perryville, KY.
During Clay’s sophomore year up until graduation in high school, he was a basketball manager (specifically the videographer) for the varsity team. During his sophomore year in 2012 I had the privilege of being a part of his high school’s first ever basketball state championship that he won, and received a championship ring!
