The Pastoral Council, established by the Pastor is a consultative body who shares his leadership in planning and visioning for the parish. He partners with the Council in establishing structures to facilitate the life of the parish. Together, pastor, pastoral council, and all members of Saint Bernadette Parish join in prayerful reflection about the parish’s mission and ministry.
Meetings
Regular meetings of the Pastoral Council are normally held on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30pm in the Parish Center. Notice of Council meetings and highlights of previous meetings are published in the bulletin. Parishioners are welcome to attend meetings as observers. When confidential matters need to be discussed, observers will be dismissed. Parishioners may submit, in writing, items for consideration of the Council agenda. These requests are to be received by the Parish Council Chairperson two weeks prior to the meeting. After consulting the Pastor, the Chairperson will place these items on the agenda as appropriate.
