This pre-Lenten evening will focus on the key aspects of the upcoming Lenten season and will be held in Saint Bernadette’s church.
Fr. Knott, a priest of the Archdiocese of Louisville for over 40 years is the founding director of the Institute for Priests and Presbyterates at St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. With a Doctor of Ministry degree in parish revitalization from McCormick Seminary in Chicago, Fr. Knott is a weekend campus minister at Bellarmine University and writes a weekly column for The Record. As the former pastor of the Cathedral of the Assumption, Fr. Knott was instrumental in it’s renovation in the early 1990’s.
Fr. Knott has published collections of his homilies and collections of his weekly columns. He has published articles in America, Church and Seminary Journal.
